Personal Information Collected

We collect personal information, including name, mailing address, phone and email address, from event attendees, donors (both financial and in-kind) and event ticket buyers. The information provided to us is used to process donations (in certain circumstances it is required to report to the IRS) or track event attendance. It is entered into our constituent database and could be used to contact you with announcements about our events, programs, donating or volunteering.

We do not share, sell, rent or trade information about our donors.

Requests for donor anonymity will be granted, if requested.

 

Credit Card Transactions

Credit card transactions are processed via our CRM database (Bonterra, formerly Salsa Labs) and via our auction website (Greater Giving). We protect these transactions by using SSL encryption and by having access controls in place.

 

Website Newsletter Mailing List

We offer a mailing list sign up on our website: https://classicwinesfoundation.salsalabs.org/emailsignup/index.html. We collect name, mailing address and email address in order to communicate about future events. You may subscribe, unsubscribe, or manage your preferences at any time.  To manage your subscription or unsubscribe from our e-mail lists click the links conveniently located at the end of our e-mails directing you to Unsubscribed or Manage Your Preferences. You may also send an e-mail to info@classicwinesfoundation.com requesting any subscription changes.

Classic Wines Foundation uses social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram to engage our donors. On these networks, we abide by the terms and conditions of those websites/services, and we reserve the right to use those networks for promotion purposes. In some cases, comments made on our social media communications are reviewed and published at our discretion. We reserve the right to edit, moderate, and re-use comments in promotional materials. Promotions and advertising are not permitted in this medium, nor is derogatory or hateful speech.
